I hasten to add this is an old swatch. Although I have been thinking about intarsia projects.
Yesterday Georgia dominated Hawaii in the Sugar Bowl to win 41-10. Play was so mismatched, it was kinda sad to watch. But the Hawaii team played with great heart and their loyal fans in the Superdome or watching on TV stayed for every second (except for those affected by a half-hour cable outage that blacked out parts of Oahu, Kauai, Maui, and the Big Island – SHRIEK!!!). Personally, I still want the hot souvenir from NOLA, green Hawaii Mardi Gras beads.
Margene and Carole have declared January is NaSpiMoMo, National Spin More Month, on Ravelry. Seems like a good idea. I'll spin along with my trusty spindle and a lovely Barneswallow Farm Lincoln cross batt in cappuccino (one side light coffee, the other café au lait).
Although what would really be handy this time of year is an Exit 151 version of the Boston French Toast Alert System (operational version on Carole's sidebar), which gives winter storm advisories so that one can drop everything and rush like a maniac to the supermarket to stock up on mass quantitites of milk, bread, and eggs (= French toast fixins).
Crawling back into bed.
