Under the Hood

Discovered during an oil change: a mouse nest, made of shredded newspaper and fluff, nestled on the car engine between the manifold and the rocker arm cover.

Mousie nest

Huh. Usually the mousies build grass nests on the distributor cap. No idea what the change of location and materials portends.

I do, however, prefer this habitat choice over THE NEST THEY BUILT IN MY DRYER VENT!!

Wow! Never seen that under the hood. Interesting. I'm guessing this isn't a car that is driven often?

Holy Crap! I've never seen anything like that before. Those must be mice that like to travel around.
