Now that I'm back I have a harvest of Columbus Day weekend tomatoes to show off. The vines got a bit jungly while I was away and the pickings are not as lavish as some years, but it's still pretty decent, which is one of the comforts of home.

Home Comforts
Oh hai. Sorry for the radio silence, I've been away dealing with a family emergency. It's been rather trying, not least because there's virtually no cell signal and no Internet to provide connection and solace. Sigh.
Now that I'm back I have a harvest of Columbus Day weekend tomatoes to show off. The vines got a bit jungly while I was away and the pickings are not as lavish as some years, but it's still pretty decent, which is one of the comforts of home.
